Life Groups
We have several home groups in the area, the aim of which is to give people an opportunity for personal and spiritual growth and to feel part of the church family.

Prayer for Healing
Every Thursday between 2 – 4pm
Are you struggling with: Sickness and disease? Emotional problems? Overwhelmed by the cares of everyday life? Tried many things and nothing seems to work?
Come and receive prayer for healing.

Prayer
We have prayer meetings at the following times:
Saturdays 8 – 9am (General)
Thursdays 1:00 – 1:45pm (Evangelism)
and a prayer room for prayer and quiet reflection which can be used at any time.
Academy
Teaching on different themes for people who want to go deeper in their faith and study of the Word of God.
Term time sessions on:
Mondays 7pm – 9pm
Wednesdays 10am – 1pm
Sundays
Sunday Worship

There is a meeting every Sunday morning from 10:30am till 12noon.
Sunday is a lively time for all the family. We have worship followed by teaching, an opportunity for healing prayer and communion twice a month. Children’s activities are available for all ages as below.
Creche
For children 0-4 years old. We have a nice variety of toys for the children to play with in a friendly and safe environment. You are welcome to stay with your children or leave them with the staff on duty.

Children
For children 5-10. An opportunity for children to learn more about the Bible through games, craft and teaching.
Youth
For young people 11-18. A time for young people to explore their faith using discussion, teaching and DVDs in a friendly environment.
Family Life Experience
Third Sunday of each Month – 3 till 5pm
A monthly afternoon event, particularly suitable for young families.
There will be a short time for learning about the Christian Faith, followed by a fun time with table tennis, wii, games, crafts, activities for Mums all with refreshments. And lots more too…

Children and Youth
We have a variety of activities on offer including a media project, dance group, art clubs, toddler groups and much more. Please read more below. You are most welcome to attend any of the activities. Please contact us for more details. Workers are CRB checked.
Rainbow Babies & Toddlers Group
A fun time for all parents, carers, babies and toddlers. Lots of games, toys and activities all in a safe environment. While the toddlers play, the mums and careers can chat over tea or coffee.
Times: Wednesdays 11am to 2:30pm
Cost: £1.50 per session.
Light lunch provided, cost £1.
Achazia Dance
Contemporary dance with ballet and gymnastics elements for beginner to advanced level working towards high level performance pieces.
Times:
Sundays: 5-6:30pm
Mondays: 4:30 – 6pm
Starting 15th Jan 2010:
Fridays Sessions 4:30 – 6pm
Ages: 8 – 14
Cost: £3.75 per session
Please wear dance clothes and bring a drink.
Innov8
Youth Media Project, for year 7 upwards where you can learn new skills with different types of media. Hands on experience with photography, video, sound and lighting.
Time: Saturdays 10:30am to 12:30pm.
Cost: £2 per session.
Creation Station
Weekly Arts and Crafts Group. There will be team and individual projects incorporating a wide range of techniques and activities to include the following:
- Painting / Drawing
- Dough Craft
- Clay Work
- Textile & Fabric Painting
- Sculpture
- Papercraft
- Jewellery Making
- Cake Decorating
- Cooking and more.
Minis: Ages 5 to 8 years.
Maxis: Ages 9+
Time: Fridays 6:30 to 7:45pm
Cost: £2 per session.
Explode
Starting in 2010
Creative sessions for teenagers. Including the following:
- Painting
- Textiles
- Sculpture
- Graffiti Art
- Mosaic
- Music
Times: Fridays 8pm to 9:45pm
Cost: £2 per session
Family Fun Zone
First Saturday of each month
A place for families to come and have fun together. All ages welcome, including parents. Activities for the whole family to do. Refreshments will be available. Table tennis, games console (Wii Fit), snooker, crafts, DVDs and more.
Times: 10:30am till 12 noon
Cost: £2 for a 1 child family, plus an extra £1 for each child.
Community Activities
We have a large variety of groups and activities on offer including coffee shop, IT Zone, exercise groups, creative arts group, men’s group, gardening group and more. You are welcome to attend any of the activities. More details below.
Coffee Shop
We offer a wide range of snacks including sandwiches, jacket potatoes, and delicious home made cakes with Cappuccinos, Lattes and speciality teas in a relaxed, friendly atmosphere.
Times:
Tuesdays – Fridays: 10:30am – 3:30pm
Saturdays: 10:30am – 1:00pm
IT Zone
An opportunity to learn basic computer skills, send emails and look information up on the Internet.
Time: Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays, 10am till 2pm
Cost: £20 a year; £1.50 per 2 hour session.
Be Creative Arts & Crafts Group
An opportunity to learn various craft skills including card making, flower arranging, calendar making, jewellery making and lots more. No skill necessary.
Times: 1st and 3rd Tuesdays in the month.
10am till 12noon
Cost: £2 per session.
Gentle Exercise Group
Sit and get fit or move to the music. A great way for strengthening muscles and increasing mobility. Suitable for Seniors.
Times:
Tuesdays: 10:30 – 11:30am
Wednesdays: 10:30 – 11:30am
Thursdays: 2:00 – 3:00pm
Cost: £2.50 per session.
Low Impact Aerobics
Strengthen heart and lungs, tone your muscles, burn calories, lose weight, and have fun.
Time: Wednesdays 7:00 – 8:00pm
Cost: £3 per session (bring a towel or mat).
Achazia Dance for Adults
Starting 14th January 2010
Worship based, using flags, ribbons and simple movements.
Thursdays 9:45 – 10:45am
£3 per session.
Rest a While
Please visit our community sensory garden. A place where you can rest and relax in a lovely quiet place, have a cup of tea, or chat with a friend.
Gardening Club
If you like gardening then we need your help. Volunteers are wanted to help keep our community sensory garden in good order. If you would like to help please contact us.
Come armed with a spade and fork ready to do some digging, weeding, sitting and laughing.
AIM for MEN
A group for men to build friendship, participate in sporting activities and outings, meet occasionally for breakfast and to share the gospel in the community.
