Our work in Hungary
Over the last 5 years, SCCC have taken 2 mission teams to Hungary to work alongside Operation Mobilisation Missionaries working in various locations around Budapest. Gill Hitchcock who came from Shoreham is working as a missionary for OM and it is through her that these links have been established.
The 2 teams have visited the villages of Ofalu and Erci working among Roma gypsies. During these visits, they conducted children’s programmes, worked with local families and supported the local missionaries. They also helped redecorate the mission centre in Ofalu and assisted with English classes for local Hungarians.
